2010 JAN 4 -- Researchers detail in 'Suicide in the Northern Territory, 2001-2006,' new data in suicide. "The aim of the present study was to characterize suicide in the Northern Territory (NT) for the 6 year period 1 January 2001-31 December 2006. Suicide death rates by area (Australia, NT), sex, and Indigenous status for the period of 2001-2006 were obtained from the National Coroners Information System through the Victorian Institute of Forensic Medicine," scientists in Alice Springs, Australia report.
