Researchers from Bern University Hospital Discuss Findings in Allergies

2012 APR 25 -- New research, "New drug targets in atopic dermatitis," is the subject of a report. "Atopic dermatitis (AD) is a chronic inflammatory skin disorder characterized by eczematous skin lesions, pruritus and typical histopathological features. T cells are thought to play a key role, but B cells might also participate in the pathogenesis of AD," scientists writing in the journal Chemical Immunology and Allergy report.
