2007 JUL 3 -- "I never thought it would happen to me!" This statement motivated the team at ta-tas(R) Brand Clothing to become a part of the 14th annual EIF Revlon Run/Walk for Women in both New York and Los Angeles, for the second year in a row. The unique apparel company, whose mission is to help men and women "put the fun in the fight," has decided to participate in this important event on both coasts in order to raise awareness of these serious diseases.

Created in 1993 by Lilly Tartikof, the Entertainment Industry Foundation's Revlon Run/Walk for Women is now the biggest fundraiser of its kind for women's cancers in the nation -- making it a perfect fit for ta-tas, a company that is dedicated to raising funds for the fight against breast cancer. The event has generated significant funding for cutting-edge research that contributes to bringing innovative treatment approaches to women's cancers worldwide, a passion shared by ta-tas, who donates five percent of each sale to breast cancer research. The young company was named one of the event's silver sponsors, putting it alongside major corporations like Dole, Hilton Hotels and Wells Fargo Bank.

"We are so honored to participate in an amazing event like the Revlon Run/Walk for Women," says ta-tas creator/ designer Julia Fikse. "This kind of event allowed us to make once-in-a-lifetime connections with so many survivors and their families. From hearing their amazing stories and sharing hugs and tears to seeing children wearing "save the ta-tas" T-shirts -- so many thanked us personally for our contributions, which just inspires ta-tas to do even more."

The event was a huge success -- celebrity hosts including Sheryl Crow, Michael Chiklis, Eva Mendez and Jessica Alba and amazing performances from Mandy Moore and Pat Benatar. The small ta-tas Brand Clothing booth, was jam-packed all day with walkers and their family members all lining up to get their own "save the ta-tas" T-shirt. The proceeds were donated to the EIF Run/Walk's beneficiaries, which include Revlon/UCLA Women's Cancer Research Program and the Los Angeles Breast Cancer Alliance. "We love that this is such an exciting, accessible, one-day event that allows you to bring generations of family members to either walk or run for a cause that promotes breast cancer awareness and self-confidence -- which make it a perfect fit with our brand!" said Fikse.

The Revlon Run/Walk took place in both Times Square and the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum this year and included over 90,000 men, women and children who ran/walked to the finish line, where they were met by a finish line concert and celebration.
