AIDS Study Not To Commence until FDA Approval Is Obtained

Advanced Viral Research Corporation, Miami, Florida, announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has instructed the company to cease all activities directly related to the previously announced pilot AIDS study assessing the effects of the company's drug Reticulose on the viral load of persons who have been diagnosed with HIV.

The study was to be conducted at a South Florida hospital.
