"Pott's Disease of the Cranio-Vertebral Junction in an AIDS Patient."

According to an abstract submitted by the authors to the Eighth Mediterranean Symposium on HIV Infection, held March 10-11, 1995, in Toulon, France, "A case of tuberculosis (TB) of the cervical spine (Pott's disease) associated with a retropharyngeal abscess in a patient with HIV infection is described. A 33-years old anti-HIV seropositive male (CD4+ 335/mm3), IV drug abuser, presented with fever, dysphagia, functional impairment of the neck movements due to pain and weakness of both arms.
