According to an abstract submitted by the authors to the Eighth Mediterranean Symposium on HIV Infection, held March 10-11, 1995, in Toulon, France, "Several cases of HC infection after IVIG GammagardR infusions has been reported. The possible transmission of HC by IVIG GammagardR led, in France (February 1994) to the suppression of their delivery. The goal of this retrospective study is to evaluate the virologic HC status of HIV+ patients before and after IVIG GammagardR administration. Seventeen HIV+ patients were included in this study.
