The monthly statistics, released April 16, 1995, showed that 22 new cases of AIDS were reported during the 30-day period, ending April 12, 1995.
Arkansas has reported more than 400 cases of HIV every year since 1990. Through April 12, 1995, the number of cases reported was 145.
A total of 3,121 Arkansans have been reported to be HIV positive. Of that number, 1,709 have developed AIDS.
