Claudine Boiziau, INSERM, Bordeaux, France, and colleagues said that they synthesized alpha-beta chimeric 17-mer oligodeoxyribonucleotides that contained either 5, 10 or 15 beta nucleotides ("Chimeric Alpha-Beta Oligonucleotides As Antisense Inhibitors of Reverse Transcription," FEBS Letters, March 13, 1995;361(1):41-45).
