These findings indicate that clinicians may wish to change antiretroviral regimens based on quantification of HIV burden in plasma.
Researchers A. Ruffault and colleagues of Pontchaillou Hospital, Rennes, France, evaluated HIV-1 plasma viremia in 28 patients with HIV infection before and after long-term AZT treatment.
