Don't Let Bigotry Kill Ryan White

Before 13-year-old Ryan White died of AIDS in 1988, he was subjected to appalling prejudice and intolerance in his home town of Kokomo, Indiana. Now an equally ugly campaign of bigotry is being waged in Congress against the 5-year-old AIDS-care program named in his honor.

The Ryan White Comprehensive AIDS Resources Emergency (CARE) Act of 1990 (Public Law 101-381) provides grants to states to improve the quality, accessibility and organization of healthcare for people with HIV infection.
