Issuance Received on Safety Syringe To Prevent Needle Puncture

Medisys Technologies, Inc., Baton Rouge, Louisiana, announced that the U.S. Patent Office has issued a final patent for the company's state of the art safety syringe designed to prevent accidental needle-stick injuries.

Softip is the only existing needle and syringe which automatically encloses the needle in a protective micro-thin sheath before the hypodermic is withdrawn from the patient's body thereby eliminating exposure to a potentially contaminated sharp needle point.
