According to an abstract submitted by the authors to the Conference on Global Lung Health and the 1995 Annual Meeting of the IUATLD/UICTMR, held September 9-12, 1995, in Paris, France, "Objectives: To describe the prevalence of tuberculosis and of disease induced by MAC. M. kanasii, M. fortuitum and M. bovis BCG strain in HIV infected patients in Greater Sao Paulo (Brazil).
