HIV-1 Transmission Via IDC May Provide Way for In Vivo Viral Spread

Mature Langerhans cells (mLC) are the ex vivo correlates of IDC and are susceptible to HIV-1 infection, Burkhard Ludewig, Ropert Koch-Institut, Berlin, Germany, and colleagues noted.
