Female Health Foundation Launched to Educate Women

Public health advocates and representatives of the Female Health Company, Chicago, Illinois, launched the Female Health Foundation in a move to educate women about reproductive health.

The Female Health Foundation is dedicated to elevating awareness of women's health issues with a specific focus on contraceptive choices and the prevention of sexually-transmitted diseases (STDs). The foundation works with the Scientific Advisory Group on Education (SAGE) to provide information and develop a "train-the-trainer" outreach program to support global providers and counselors in communicating effectively about the need for and use of female condoms for women as a contraceptive...
