Strange Bedfellows Damage CDC and NIH Credibility

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH) should be careful with whom they get into bed.

The CDC/NIH collaborative relationship for a conference with the Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA) has damaged the reputation of these two federal agencies and has embroiled them in a major national catastrophe.
