Database Agreement Signed To Study HIV and Drug Response
Published in AIDS Weekly, February 10th, 1997
The collaboration uses Glaxo Wellcome's leadership in HIV antivirals and Affymetrix' proprietary GeneChip technology to build a database of genetic information from a selected sampling of patients with the virus rapidly and cost-effectively. This database of genetic information may be used to develop patient care protocols that maximize quality and duration of life for HIV infected persons.
