Award Presented for Critical Study in HIV/AIDS

The Pediatric AIDS Foundation presented five scientists with the only named award dedicated to pediatric AIDS research -- the Elizabeth Glaser Scientist Award.

The award symbolizes co-founder Elizabeth Glaser's legacy of living with courage and hope for a future without pediatric HIV/AIDS. The five awardees joined the 1996 five recipients, bringing the total number of working Elizabeth Glaser Scientists to ten. During the first year of the program, the 1996 Scientists submitted and published 12 journal articles resulting from their important research findings.
