Awards Competition Nominations Sought for HIV/AIDS Programs in the Workplace

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announced a plan to recognize outstanding HIV/AIDS prevention programs in the workplace and is seeking nominations for the awards.

The CDC has planned to bestow National Business and Labor Awards for Leadership on HIV/AIDS to businesses, labor groups, and other organizations who demonstrate exemplary programs. The purpose of these awards is to identify model programs which can serve as examples to others in workplace policies, manager and labor leader training, employee education, education of employees' families, and community service and volunteerism.
