According to an abstract submitted by the authors to the 97th General Meeting of the American Society for Microbiology, held May 4-8, 1997, in Miami Beach, Florida, "The Bio-Tek Omni EIA System is an automated microtiter plate processor capable of processing multiple microtiter plates for immunoassays from several manufacturers simultaneously. The instrument's accuracy and labor savings were evaluated using the following kits; HBsAg (Sanofi), HBcAb (Ortho Diag.), HCV IgG Ab (Ortho Diag.), HIV p24 Ag (Courter) and HTLV I Ab (Organon Teknika).
