Home Access Health Urges Consumer Caution Via Internet

Home healthcare consumers searching the Internet should be aware of the marketing activities of unapproved and illegal HIV home test kits according to Home Access Health Corp., Hoffman Estates, Illinois.

Michael G. Wandell, Home Access, said the Home Access HIV Test System is the only HIV home collection test system currently on the market approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

"Consumers must be cautious about any other web site that offers home HIV test kits for sale, especially sites that claim to provide test results in a matter of minutes," Wandell said.
