510k Submission Pre-Clinical Cancer Trial Announced

HemoCleanse Inc., West Lafayette, Indiana, in conjunction with IDT Inc. announced that it has submitted a 510(k) Notification with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to request market clearance for the ThermoChem-HT System for use in Intraperitoneal Hyperthermic Chemotherapy (IPHC).

The ThermoChem-HT System was formerly known as the BioLogic-HTA, a part of the BioLogic-HT System which is now called the ThermoChem System. The ThermoChem System currently is being studied in whole body hyperthermia treatment of cancer and HIV/AIDS. The system name was changed to better identify the products and their intended markets.
