Free At-Home Replacement Test Kit Offered to Purchasers of Confide

Home Access Health Corp., Hoffman Estates, Illinois, maker of Home Access Express HIV test system, have offered a free HIV test kit to consumers who have purchased Confide and are unable to obtain their test result as a result of Johnson & Johnson's (J&J) June 26, 1997 announcement that it would be withdrawing Confide from the market.

"People who are trying to get tested for HIV need to know that there is a safe and accurate at-home alternative," said Richard A. Quattrocchi, Home Access Health Corp.
