"We observed a dramatic increase in cytotoxic T-lymphocyte [CTL] induction as well as T-helper-cell proliferation with the co-administration of genes for CD86 [with HIV-1 DNA immunization cassettes]," reported Jong J. Kim of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia.
Kim reported the findings in a presentation to the first annual International Society for Vaccines Symposium on Vaccinology, held September 8-11, 1997, in Leesburg, Virginia.
