Cambodia's Prostitutes Seek New Life

At the age of 13, one girl has survived enough tragedies to fill the lifetime of even the most unfortunate of Cambodia's women.

When she was 10, the girl was raped by her stepfather. When she was 12, he forced her to work as a prostitute at a nightclub. By the time she was 13, she had been forced to sell her body to hundreds of men.

It was a nearly insufferable nightmare until 1997 when one "customer" changed her life.

The man was an undercover aid worker who contacted police and rescued her. She was then taken to Action for Women in Danger (AFESIP).
