State prosecutors dropped two charges against an 27-year-old English Cypriot after she pleaded guilty on two other counts of deliberately putting her lovers at risk for not telling them she suffered from AIDS.
The woman, who came to Cyprus from London in 1987, had previously denied all four counts of exposing her lovers to HIV. She contracted the virus three years ago and has now developed advanced AIDS, needing constant medical attention.
