HIV Genotyping Program To Maximize Drug Treatment Announced

Visible Genetics Inc. (VGI), Toronto, Ontario, Canada, has launched a comprehensive educational program entitled "Vigilance in Europe" to demonstrate and establish the clinical utility of genotyping in HIV management.

The program has two parts - a clinical trial and a call for scientific projects. The trial provides free genotyping to individuals exposed to HIV; proposals from European virological and infectious diseases centers should plan to evaluate the clinical utility of HIV genotyping.
