Phase I AG1549 Clinical Trial Initiated To Treat HIV

Immunity Care and Research, LLC, Plantation, Florida, announced it has begun a Phase I clinical trial with an investigational new drug candidate, AG1549 - a second generation non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NNRTI) for the treatment of HIV infection being developed by Agouron Pharmaceuticals, Inc.

Immunity Care and Research, LLC is conducting this Phase I trial to evaluate the safety, tolerance, pharmacokinetics, and antiviral activity in 30 HIV patients.
