AIDS Foundation Greets Study on Perinatal HIV Transmission

The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation greeted the August 11, 1999, publication of a study by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on sharp reductions in the number of pediatric AIDS cases in the U.S. "This is great progress. We've worked toward these results for years," said Kate Carr, Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. "But no one should think that it's over. The target is still a long way away."
