Reactive Arthritis Not Always Benign

Reiter's Syndrome, also known as reactive arthritis, an aseptic inflammatory polyarthritis, may not be as benign and self-limited as previously thought. In a review of the syndrome, Werner F. Barth, MD, and Kinin Segal, MD, both of the Washington Hospital Center, Washington, DC, discussed its clinical features diagnosis, pathogenesis, course, and treatment.
