Ultraviolet B Radiation Does Not Negatively Affect HIV Patients

Ultraviolet B (UVB) radiation does not cause a decline in immunological parameters in HIV infected homosexual men, say researchers in The Netherlands.

"Whether exposure to sunlight, especially UVB radiation, is harmful to the cellular immunity of HIV infected individuals and whether this is associated with an accelerated progression towards AIDS is still under debate," reported J.
