International Research Initiative Launched

The Pediatric AIDS Clinical Trials Group (PACTG) recently announced the selection of four new international sites to receive funding to prepare for clinical trials in Thailand and South Africa.

While continuing its commitment to research addressing the HIV/AIDS in the U.S., the PACTG is expanding its efforts to address the global HIV epidemic by establishing long-term relationships with partner sites in mid-developed countries. Research conducted at the international sites will contribute to the research agenda related to the prevention of mother-to-infant transmission and to prolonging and enhancing the lives of women, children, and youth affected by HIV and AIDS. ...
