"Plasma levels of dehydroepiandrosterone sulphate (DHEA-S) decrease with the progression of HIV disease," according to Christophe Piketty and colleagues at Hopital Europeen Georges Pompidou, Hopital Trousseau, and Hopital Paul Brousse in Paris, and Hopital Bicetre in Le Kremlin Bicetre.
