Advanced Viral Research names Dr. Mark H. Kaplan to scientific advisory board

Advanced Viral Research Corp. announced that Mark H. Kaplan, MD, has joined the company's scientific advisory board. Dr. Kaplan brings specialized expertise in AIDS treatment and research, including the study of new therapeutic agents, to the Scientific Advisory Board.

Dr. Kaplan is the Jane and Dayton Brown Professor of Clinical Medicine at The New York University School of Medicine and has been director of The Center for AIDS Research and Treatment at The North Shore University Hospital since 1994.
