Antiretrovirus biotech firm names senior management team, scientific advisory board

Mymetics Corp. (MYMX), an international biotechnology firm focused on molecular mimicry and retroviral diseases, announced the appointment of its senior management team and scientific advisory board.

The senior management includes Peter McCann, PhD, president and CEO; Joseph Mosca, PhD, vice president, development; and Pierre-Francois Serres, PhD, vice president, research and founder.

Most recently, McCann was president and CEO of Oncostasis, Inc., a genomics-based cancer therapeutics company. He is also the former president of the University of Maryland's Biotechnology Institute, and of British Biotech, Inc.
