Molecular and cellular TCR Vbeta repertoire tests yield discrepant results

Molecular and cellular techniques for analyzing T-cell receptor (TCR) Vbeta repertoir yield discrepant results in pediatric HIV patients.

In a recent study from New York University, TCR Vbeta diversity was "assessed in the CD4 and CD8 T lymphocytes of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)-infected children who were receiving therapy during the chronic phase of infection by flow cytometry (FC) and PCR analysis."
