E Med Future begins NeedleZap distribution in Uganda

E Med Future, Inc., (EMDF), a Columbus, Ohio-based manufacturer of NeedleZap, a medical device that disintegrates used hypodermic needles, announced the company's expansion into Uganda through its distribution partner in Africa, Global Marketing Group (GMG).

"Some recent studies indicate that as many as 60% of the HIV infections in Africa are due to the use of contaminated needles," said GMG spokesperson Marty DuBois. "We believe NeedleZap can help prevent accidental or intentional re-use of contaminated needles.
