Antiretroviral drug levels in untimed plasma samples can predict treatment outcomes in patients with advanced HIV infection.

C.S. Alexander and colleagues at the University of British Columbia conducted a study "to examine the relationship between untimed antiretroviral concentrations measured in plasma samples collected for virus-load testing and response to highly active antiretroviral therapy."
