New drug delivery system allows for combination of drugs

INNERCAP Technologies announced that its multi-phase, multi-compartment capsule drug delivery system is now available.

The system, called Novacaps accommodates otherwise incompatible pharmaceutical agents, solid or liquid, in a single-dosage, combination product. Increased interest in such combination formats is evidenced by the FDA's recent initiative to advance the development of single-dosage forms for delivery of multiple HIV/AIDS drugs.
