U.S. HHS secretary Thompson applauds efforts to fight HIV/AIDS in Tanzania

U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Tommy G. Thompson was at Muhimbili National Hospital in Dar es Salaam where he saw first-hand the healthcare management and infrastructure improvements being undertaken through a public-private partnership between the government of Tanzania and the Abbott Fund, a philanthropic organization established by Abbott Laboratories.
