Study shows HIV diagnostics tools not reaching people who need them most

With the rising incidence of the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) reaching alarming proportions across the world, particularly in developing countries such as China, India, and Africa, HIV diagnostics and monitoring tests are acquiring increasing significance.

Analysis from Frost & Sullivan, Strategic Analysis of Global HIV Diagnostics and Monitoring Markets, indicates that this market generated revenue of $2,344 million in 2004. It expects to increase at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 7.9% to reach $3,998 million in 2011.
