AIDS foundation comments on U.S. GAO report

The Government Accountability Office (GAO) released a report and evaluation of the Ryan White CARE Act, the U.S. program that is the principle source of funding for HIV/AIDS care and services for cities and states nationwide, and which is due for Congressional reauthorization later this year.

The GAO report highlighted several inequities in the current Ryan White legislation that adversely affect the equitable distribution of funds for life-saving HIV/AIDS care and services nationwide.
