Chembio reports 19% increase in 2005 revenues

Chembio Diagnostics, Inc. (CEMI) reported fourth-quarter and full-year financial results for 2005.

The company's 2005 revenues were $3.94 million, a 19% increase compared to 2004 revenues of $3.31 million. For 2005, the net loss attributable to common stockholders was $6.77 million or $0.88 per share compared to a net loss attributable to common stockholders of $5.04 million or $0.85 per share for 2004. The net loss attributable to common stockholders for 2005 and 2004 includes $3.52 million and $1.94 million, respectively in non-cash dividends to preferred stockholders.
