Suboptimal fertility clinic practices in England put HIV-negative partners and unborn children at risk for HIV transmission.

In a recent article published in the journal Fertility and Sterility, scientists in England conducted a "postal questionnaire survey and audit of causes of infertility in HIV-infected women" to "collect data on the demand and provision of fertility care in HIV-infected couples in the United Kingdom and data on the etiology of subfertility in this population."
