Study 1: HIV testing uptake is higher among sexually transmitted disease-uninfected persons attending a genitourinary clinic.
"Bacterial sexually transmitted infections (STIs) may be markers of high-risk sexual activity. Counseling for these infections provides an opportunity for promoting HIV testing," scientists in England report.
