Researchers' findings from the United States and Singapore advance HIV/AIDS research

Investigators in the United States and Singapore have published new HIV/AIDS data.

Study 1: Multidrug-resistant tuberculosis is prevalent among HIV/AIDS patients with pulmonary tuberculosis in Haiti.

According to recent research from the United States, "Tuberculosis is the major opportunistic infection of HIV/AIDS in developing countries. We investigated the prevalence rate of multidrug-resistant (MDR) tuberculosis at an HIV voluntary counseling and testing (VCT) center in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.
