Findings from the United Kingdom, United States and France describe new data in HIV/AIDS research

HIV/AIDS research advances have been reported from the United Kingdom, United States and France.

Study 1: HIV RNA suppression is improved in HAART-naïve patients starting antiretroviral therapy with a three-drug/two-class regimen including efavirenz.

According to a recently published study from England, "Antiretroviral therapy has greatly reduced HIV mortality and morbidity. However, the best sequence of regimens and implications of initial regimen for long-term therapeutic success are not well defined."
