Investigators at University of Alabama, Department of Health Behavior zero in on HIV/AIDS co-infection

Data detailed in "Sexually transmitted infections among urban shelter clients" have been presented. "Sexually transmitted infections (STIs) remain common in the United States. One contributor to this persistent problem is pockets of infection among persons who may not have regular access to health care, a group that includes those who seek services at shelters," researchers in the United States report.
