Studies from Columbia University, U.S., have provided new HIV/AIDS data

Researchers from Columbia University, U.S., release new HIV/AIDS data.

Study 1: Crystal structure and mechanism of action determined for Moloney murine leukemia virus RNase H domain.

"A crystallographic study of the Moloney murine leukemia virus (Mo-MLV) RNase H domain was performed to provide information about its structure and mechanism of action. These efforts resulted in the crystallization of a mutant Mo-MLV RNase H lacking the putative helix C (Delta C)," scientists in the United States report.

According to the authors, "The 1.6-angstrom resolution structure resembles the known structures of the human immunodeficiency virus...
