Study findings from University of Texas, U.S., provide new insights into HIV/AIDS

New HIV/AIDS data have been reported by scientists from University of Texas, U.S.

Study 1: Fresh data on HIV/AIDS are presented in the report "Lipid abnormalities in HIV/hepatitis C virus-coinfected patients." According to recent research from the United States, "Among HIV-infected patients, hepatitis C virus (HCV) coinfection is associated with increased rates of lipodystrophy and insulin resistance. Its impact on HIV-associated dyslipidaemia is less clear."
