Research findings from Temple University, U.S., update understanding of HIV/AIDS

Research from Temple University, U.S., has provided new information about HIV/AIDS.

Study 1: A report, "C/EBPbeta regulates human immunodeficiency virus 1 gene expression through its association with cdk9," is newly published data in The Journal of General Virology. "Transcriptional regulation of the human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1) is a complex event that requires the cooperative action of both viral (e.g. Tat) and cellular (e.g. C/EBPbeta, NF-kappaB) factors," scientists writing in the Journal of General Virology report.
